Student Groups and School Calendar for October and November

Hello families,

First, I'd like to thank you for your patience in this very uncertain time. We have all had to find patience and flexibility to the highest degree. We will let you know, as we know, how the school year will look.

At this time, ALL students will begin their classes remotely on Wednesday, September 16th. Those students who are in blended learning will begin to come into the school on October1st. I am attaching the calendar showing the days that your student will come into the school, depending on what group they are in. Their groups are sorted by last name.

Group A: students with last name A-E
Group B: students with last name F-M
Group C: students with last name N-Z

The school day will begin at 8:15am and end at 1:45, whether you are remote or blended.

Please note if your child is in a self-contained class (12:1 or 12:1:1) they will be assigned to Group A:
This includes Classes 614, 634, 724, 734, 824 and 825 only

Please click on the calendar picture to find the links for a printable PDF file. The links are at the bottom of the article - it's much easier to read and print.

Again, thank you for your time, flexibility, and patience,

Toni Bennett

Family Income Inquiry Form

Dear Families, As you may know, we ask families to fill out a Family Income Inquiry Form each school year. All New York City public school students receive free lunch. However, the Family Income Inquiry Form is a key factor in determining whether your child's school is eligible to receive Title 1 and other funding. For example, Title 1 provides resources for programs and services to eligible schools. By submitting this form, you can help ensure that funding for your child's school is properly calculated for these resources. We rely on Title 1 money to help with some of our programs. Please complete the Family Income Inquiry Form online at www.myschoolapps.com by October 20, 2020. If you receive benefits from Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) or Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF), your child's school is eigible for additional funding. Please complete a form and provide the program case number. Thank you for your help in this important matter,

DOE Student Account Portal

The DOE has created student accounts for every single New York City public school student, including 3K and Pre-K students. The account gives your student access to TeachHub, which is how students access: - iLearnNYC - Student report cards (available in the Student Documents icon) - Multiple educational applications - G Suite, Microsoft O365, and Zoom (using secure central accounts) - access to NYPL and Sora, which are wonderful places to access ebooks for your student
