Welcome to the 2020 - 2021 School Year

Welcome to the 2020 - 2021 School Year ! I look forward to meeting incoming 6th grade students and welcome back 7th & 8th grade. This year we will face many challenges, but with proper safety protocols in place together we can make this a successful school year. Whether you're remote or blended, be sure to join your class on Google Classroom. Here are my expectations as we begin the school year :

1. You must follow all safety protocol ; masks worn at all times and must cover your nose and sit below your chin

2. You must stay mindful of all social distancing both in the classroom and when traveling in and out of the building. This includes fire drills and rest room visits. There will be markers on the floors and walls to direct you in which way you should travel throughout the building and staircases.

3. You must bring all materials in with you daily. Materials cannot be provided to students nor should you be sharing materials with classmates.

4. It goes without saying that as young adults your behavior should model that of the Wildcat way. There will be a 0 tolerance policy for misbehavior both in and out of the building.

5. You should join your classes Google Classroom immediately. This platform will be used to submit work, collaborate with others and communicate. Moreover, this platform will provide work on remote days and if we are transitioned to full time remote.

6. Pride. Take pride in your studies and the opportunities provided in my class. We will be learning various topics that include, but are not limited to, entrepreneurship, coding, web design, marketing strategies, personal finance, etc. This class can serve as a pathway to a high school , college and career program.
